What's In The Box

  • The shutterpumper® electropneumatic release unit, air hose, and air piston shutter release
  • Microfiber drawstring storage pouch/dust filter (not shown). The shutterpumper relies on clean air for reliable operation and the included storage pouch doubles as an air filter - it is recommended you always keep the shutterpumper in its storage pouch during operation to maximize longevity of its components
  • Connection diagram and quick start guide (not shown)

What You Will Need

  • Digital intervalometer with a 2.5mm connector plug (Amazon and eBay are good resources for inexpensive intervalometers)
  • USB Type-C power cable (fast-charging type recommended)
  • USB power bank with a rated output of 5 VDC and a minimum 5000 mAh (5 Ah)

Recommended

  • USB power bank capable of powering both the shutterpumper and camera to ensure the camera does not lose power. Depending upon your camera model and the duration of the time-lapse shooting time, a power rating of at least 10000 mAh (10 Ah) is recommended if simultaneously powering the camera and the shutterpumper for extended periods.
  • Fujifilm X100 and X100S: Use of the CP-95/CN-5 Battery Eliminator is strongly recommended as shooting a time-lapse can drain your camera's internal battery before shooting has completed (as of this writing new units of the CP-95/CN-5 Battery Eliminator can still be sourced from AliExpress). Combined with a 10000 mAh or 20000 mAh USB power bank, is it possible to power both the camera and shutterpumper from a single, convenient supply for very long periods. Tip: Reduce the brightness of your camera's LCD monitor for even longer battery life.
