Collection: Critters: Pterygota Unweird

The Critters: Pterygota Unweird collection explores a whimsical crossroad where entomology meets clockwork fantasy. Each piece is a living machine, as though butterflies, moths, and beetles have been reimagined by eccentric inventors in a world fueled by gears, glass, and brass. Their delicate wings, balanced with intricate mechanical bodies, conjure a dreamlike universe where technology and nature are not opposites but collaborators in evolution.

There’s a playful strangeness here — robo-entomology at its finest — where insects are not pests but precious artifacts, both futuristic and antique. Some evoke a sense of delicate museum specimens, others feel like wind-up guardians from a forgotten steampunk city. Together, they form a cabinet of curiosities that hums with life, precision, and a little mischief, speaking to humanity’s endless fascination with reinventing nature in its own image.

Every print bears the signature of the artist and ships with a certificate of authenticity. Limited edition prints also display their unique sequence number in the bottom-right border, and include a certificate of authenticity that records that number.
